After completing her masters in Migration and Diaspora studies, she obtained a certificate in Teaching World Music in the Classroom from SOAS University of London. During her studies she has developed a particular interest in Ghanaian drumming and West African polyrhythms.

Anna has recently joined Woven Gold choir as their percussionist and she is currently working on a new music project incorporating audio samples into live music performances.

Anna started out as a volunteer for Music in Detention in 2014 and has recently joined the team of music workshop facilitators (contracted by Music for Change). Her work with MID has included supporting the community exchange between Campsfield House Immigration Removal Centre and young people attending Base 33, a youth centre in Witney, Oxfordshire, in 2016.
